Overview: Equal job opportunities for women and men are a desirable objective, yet this objective does not seem to be realized up to now. One reason for the existing imbalance can already be found in the process of personnel selection. With an equal number of male and female applicants, HR managers often opt for the male candidate, as they perceive the applicants' communication skills with a gender bias. The objective of this paper is to develop an experimental design to allow a quantitative analysis of communication skills, creating an impressive amount of usable data. The presented experiment "EXPLANATORIUS!" enables to assess communication effectiveness and efficiency.
