Overview: Arlington Economic Development (AED), a department of Arlington County Government dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of an economically vital, competitive, and sustainable community, is using the AppExchange platform to customize Salesforce to manage business and sales processes across 4 organizational units. With AppExchange, AED has built and deployed custom applications and tabs to effectively track more than one billion dollars of real estate and business development projects. Using the customized and integrated Salesforce solution, AED has significantly improved quality of service and streamlined its inter-organizational project communication.
