Overview: Nissan sought to improve customer satisfaction by increasing parts availability at dealers and service centers. Nissan selected supply chain management and visibility system from IBM and Viewlocity, including Viewlocity Control Tower, IBM WebSphere Application Server - Express and IBM eServer pSeries P690. This has reduced procurement costs by 22 percent, increased on-time deliveries by suppliers and improved communications on status of shipments.
