Overview: Automotive components manufacturer MAHLE Group wanted to reduce IT operational costs by finding reliable, high-performance core technologies to support its 4,500 SAP solution users. MAHLE migrated from Oracle to IBM DB2 Information Management Software as its core database technology for all SAP solutions, on IBM eServer p5 570 servers and xSeries servers, supported by an IBM TotalStorage DS8100 storage server.
