Overview: Nexen, Inc. implemented SAP R3 and BW (business information warehouse) some years ago. Following the implementation, the company had some performance issues. Nexen's specific goals were focused on providing a more simple information delivery environment that would better meet the users' needs while also reducing the demands on the support team. IBM Business Consulting Services was chosen to evaluate the existing issues and current reporting architecture. The team leveraged IBM's information delivery architecture and strategy methodology along with IBM's deep SAP BW experience to provide Nexen with a set of recommendations and a project roadmap to address its needs.
