Overview: Consumer product recalls are a common corporate public relations challenge. Fortunately, arrays of print public relations tools are available for recall campaigns. This paper suggests that press releases, direct mail, display ads and flyers can be successful consumer product recall communication instruments. Prescriptive advice is suggested to facilitate use of these print media, and enhance print product recall campaign effectiveness.
