Overview: The author recently designed a series of banner ads for a small company that provides employee benefits services. They had a great concept but needed more exposure on the web. After completing his design work and posting the ads online for the owner's review, curiosity got the best of the author and the author asked the owner where he was placing the ads. He responded that he had heard from some friends that if one wanted to generate real traffic, he needed to be on Yahoo or one of the other big search engines.
