Overview: For 10 years, the author has taught a capstone course to MBAs at the University of Manitoba called "The CEO." Eight to 10 CEOs meet with the students for 90 minutes each to answer questions on how they got the CEO's job, what they like and do not like about it, how they handle challenges, conflict, strategy, organization, compensation, terminations, change, pressure, family, the need for balance and the like. Teaching this course has been the authors greatest success in 32 years in the MBA classroom. Students love the experience and come away genuinely inspired.
