Overview: Technology-enhanced support for knowledge sharing and transfer in higher education has attracted increasing attention over the past years. Within this context, this paper presents a case study on knowledge sharing conducted with more than 160 students at Graz University of Technology in the winter term 04/05. During the course of the study, the students were provided with a working environment consisting of different knowledge management instruments. The paper motivates the use of these instruments, compiles lessons learned with applying these tools and makes recommendations for future developments in the area of hybrid forms of knowledge sharing.
