Overview: A survey by Citigroup Global Transaction Services and GTNews.com shows that optimum working capital management remains out of reach for many companies. When asked about the quality of their organization's internal processes, 49 percent of respondents rated accounts payable processes poor or average, and 43 percent rated accounts receivable processes average or below. In addition, only 35 percent gave their organization's inventory-cycle processes above-average scores.
