Overview: Company size most often determines the role CEOs play in designing and funding an income protection plan. For example, in a small business with five employees located in one central location, the CEO is more than likely the key decision maker whereas a CEO of a multi-national conglomeration with thousands of workers will have an entire HR department devoted to this task. Regardless of size, every CEO should be actively in tune with the importance and the value an effective (and affordable) income protection plan brings to the corporate benefits portfolio.
