Overview: Workplace harassment is not only bullying behaviour which has long been associated with school yard taunts and acts of physical abuse. It can include situations where "A victim may have been the target of months of constant humiliation and petty criticism or may have experienced relentless insults and sarcasm, trivialisation of ... views, and public indignity". In this way, the term workplace harassment also includes psychological abuse: and it is on this aspect that this paper principally focusses.
