Overview: The Unified Modeling Language (UML) is becoming a standard language for Modeling information systems. Though the UML is also used as an instrument to model business processes, it was originally conceived as a language to describe software intensive systems. DEMO (Dynamic Essential Modeling of Organizations) is a methodology for Modeling business processes that aims at understanding the relationship between information systems and business processes.
