Overview: In order to be successful, today's companies need to look at their internal and external environment and generate a vision of where they want to be in 3, 5 and 10 years from now. Providing focus in the organization by translating this vision into a clear strategy and visualizing the latter one by identifying the key performance areas is the next step towards success. By defining metrics for core processes and linking them to the preset key performance areas, organizations can 'align' their resources and their efforts to the overall strategy, in turn driving the organization towards fulfilment of its future goals.
