Overview: Establishing the basis of the re-foundations of economics as an evolutionary thought, one has to recognised that the questions presented by Schumpeter and Nelson and Winter are more relevant than ever. However, as economic organisations have been showing an increasing degree of complexity, it has become more and more difficult to explain structural changes with the same static apparatum. Along the paper an attempt is made to show how structural change and innovative processes would gain in analytical strength if added to the complexity approach. Special attention has been placed on behaviour interactions since they aid in the emergence of new patterns of economic behaviour and emergence of organisations.
