Overview: One of the main virtues of MDA is its ability to integrate with and support other technologies and methodologies. MDA can be used to improve significantly the way in which those elements of business process models that require automation are transformed into software. MDA can thus reduce the risks and costs associated with actually implementing many BPM components. This paper examines another important methodology - Six Sigma - and how MDA can be used to support it, albeit in a somewhat different way than BPM.
