Overview: Audubon International (AI) has managed a set of education and certification programs for homes, businesses, schools, and entire communities. Through this program, golf courses implement a set of projects based on program guidelines designed to take those businesses beyond what they are legally required to do to protect the environment. The core purpose of this white paper is to summarize the results of a survey conducted to answer one of the questions posed above. Specifically: For those courses already enrolled and active in the program, are they measuring and/or realizing business value from their participations - namely, through cost savings, better stakeholder relations, increased customers, reduced regulatory scrutiny, etc.?
