Overview: A new group of high caliber analysts was formed to creatively identify and capture revenues that were overlooked due to the size and complexity of their business. Members were all very intelligent and self-directed but have no central focus. The VP of Finance saw the unrealized potential of the group and needs help in bringing it out. An off-site meeting was designed that lie out and put in place a fast track foundation for effective teamwork. It included providing a framework for understanding the elements of teamwork - direction, roles, processes and relationships. This enabled the group to work as a functionally integrated well running team.
