Overview: WGBH is a diversified nonprofit educational media company in Boston, Massachusetts. In September 2000, WGBH began the deployment of an enterprise-wide Asset Management system. The company investigated a Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems project to organize and coordinate its media assets. Working with Sun Microsystems WGBH evaluated different DAM systems and chose the TEAMS solution from Artesia Technologies, Inc., running on two domains of its Sun Ultra Enterprise 10000 server, which the organization also uses to house their fundraising and financial applications, as well as the WGBH website.
