Overview: A network of public officials and state government organizations concerned with information management, policy, and technology knew that new partnerships and approaches would be needed to meet new challenges in cyber security, business continuity, and other critical information technology-related functions. In response, the organization decided to create a new kind of working forum in which public technology leaders and IT companies could foster improved communication, mutual understanding and more effective problem solving.
