Overview: Disinformation is a process that spans operational scope and battle domains. This paper investigates the nature of disinformation by applying it in an abstract and flexible representation called State Space Representation (SSR). The paper demonstrates the utilization of the State Space Representation with an algorithmic implementation of the OODA loop and describes the conditions of disinformation in the algorithm. It concludes that disinformation will not result in sudden unexpected state changes if the situation assessment task is carried out every OODA cycle.
