Overview: Founded in 2003 by Dr. Sumathy Pathy, Family Medicine Center in Bellevue, Washington, provides primary and preventative medical care to people of all ages. After witnessing operational inefficiencies at her clinic of residency, Dr. Pathy was determined to use technology to help her create an efficient, paperless family medical practice. Dr. Pathy implemented a complete mobile solution with Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2003 as the foundation. A wireless network and several mobile computing devices make it possible for Dr. Pathy to access patient information quickly and securely. This reduced annual administrative costs by more than U.S. $70,000.
