Overview: GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare is the over-the-counter business unit of GSK, and shares the GSK corporate mission to improve the quality of human life. It wanted to redesign and re-architect its family of smoking cessation web sites, in order to extend its ability to support smokers throughout their stages of quitting, and to enable targeted relationship marketing and promotion. GSK Consumer Healthcare engaged partner Ciber to create a campaign management framework for all its brand sites. Using Microsoft Commerce Server 2002 and the Microsoft .NET Framework, it created a unified repository of user profile data for all types of marketing campaigns.
