Overview: Based in Salt Lake City, Utah, Mountain America Credit Union provides financial services to state and local government employees as well as some of the state's leading corporations. It wanted to decrease the time needed to failover from one node to another on its Microsoft Exchange Server cluster and give its mobile workers a more tightly integrated communications solution. The credit union upgraded to Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 running on the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition operating system. Thus there was a five times faster cluster failover.
