Overview: A telecommunications equipment company had to comply with California Proposition 65, which specified the levels of lead allowed in PVC-coated cables, cords, and wires. At the time, the company already had significant supply and inventory issues. PRTM was asked to assume an interim management role as the senior director of the supply chain. PRTM redesigned the organization, redesigned the supply base, developed new, environmentally compliant suppliers, reduced costs, and improved on-time delivery over a six-month period.
