Overview: The client is a major US cable company principally involved in the development, management and operation of broadband cable networks and programming content. The clients wanted to enable new VoIP product launch and accelerated development on aggressive timeline and seamless bill integration and consolidated billing infrastructure to support a consolidated, detailed bill, promoting a hosted rather than leased application billing model. Patni's VoIP billing solution addressed the critical delivery objectives in a cost-effective, risk-managed engagement model while maintaining a very aggressive delivery schedule. It leveraged existing infrastructure and system components to expand OSS support, thus enabling the launch and deployment of VoIP service.
