Overview: Two trends have converged in the last year to drive adoption of Internet-based project management collaboration solutions by owners the changed economic climate, wherein all projects are more tightly scrutinized and controlled by owners, and the growing body of evidence that collaborative tools are providing significant benefits and ROI to owners. The result is that a number of owners in both the public and private sector are tapping into Internet based project management as a way to better control the outcomes of their projects. This paper discusses the trend and looks at three examples.
