Overview: A large US provider of pharmaceuticals, infusion therapy, and other services to long-term-care and residential facilities such as nursing homes and specialty hospitals wanted to enforce HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) compliance. One of the key areas was the Individual Rights System. Infosys delivered a robust solution that ensured full Individual Rights compliance, and that could handle 60 concurrent requests per second. The .Net solution that Infosys created for the client provided the benefits such as the system was fully HIPAA compliant and ensured that all the individual rights were taken care of, thus boosting the confidence of the client's customers.
