Overview: A global investment management company with an asset base of over $248 billion decided to redesign its trade management system to enable its customers, i.e., brokers and institutional clients, to perform their trade activities like purchases, liquidations, exchanges, and cancellations over the web. The client chose Infosys as its offshore partner to re-design its technology architecture so as to support its renewed thrust on e-services and to provide an end-to-end solution. Consequently the brokers and clients could execute a variety of transactions on the web, ranging from basic account opening and querying to placement of orders, redemptions and executing other transactions straight through.
