Overview: Head-quartered in Chicago, Tribune is one of the country's premier media companies, operating businesses in broadcasting and publishing. Tribune's decision to move its HR system online caused significant changes in many of its business processes. Employees needed to familiarize themselves with using a completely web-based system while still dealing with their daily tasks. Emerging Solutions had to identify the changes in Tribune's business processes and then translate those changes into a training plan, pinpointing appropriate delivery methods in which to carry out the training and designing supplemental reference materials and tools.
