Overview: All local authorities should now be familiar with the e-Government Interoperability Framework (e-GIF) - a set of standards for information sharing, that applies to any information made available to the public (e.g. council websites), and any information exchanged with another public sector organization. This paper looks at how SearchMaster can assist local councils, and other public sector organizations, in delivering Freedom of Information in compliance with e-GIF and the e-Government Metadata Standard (e-GMS).
