Overview: The objective of this review is to: ascertain how revenues are projected for a fiscal year; and ascertain how revenue projection adjustments are recognized and reported. Specifically, this review was intended to address the following areas: the appropriateness of the revenue projection process given the information available; the adequacy of available information in support of the revenue projection process; the operational implications of revenue projections, including implications for regional delivery of services; and provide recommendations for improving revenue projection processes.
