Overview: This paper presents a study, which examines through a systematic analysis the impact on industrial relations quality and organizational performance of the labor-management partnership at Korean firms. It builds a partnership model for this study suitable for Korean workplaces. The model includes the partnership principle and the five practices, such as management efforts to secure jobs, information sharing, fair financial rewards, investment in training for employees' empowerment, and management participation.
