Overview: This paper describes a design project. The project itself involves in finding a problem and proving that it does actually exist, researching existing products that relate to the problem, drawing up a specification and creating a solution. This project is aimed at audiences who have a basic understanding of the audio industry and electronics. The various stages are laid out in a real time sequence i.e. the design project was developed in the order the sections appear in this write up. A problem has been identified within the live sound industry. The design process aims to solve this problem.
