Overview: Nowadays considering user centred design (UCD) is very important in the process of making a system; this holds for home game systems as well. User centred design starts with looking at what it is that makes a home game system well designed from the user's point of view. Important criteria for user centred design of a home game system are visibility, natural design, familiarity and generalizability. This paper looks at how the UCD criteria are incorporated in the home game systems of Nintendo. Based on the analysis the paper presents results and conclusion.
