Overview: This paper introduces a methodology for route choice based on fuzzy preference relations. The core of the model is that is a choice function based on fuzzy pair wise comparisons for travel decisions. The paper deals with the formulation of a model that also takes into account the travelers with non-perfect-maximizing behavior. Although the model is not yet supported by empirical evidence, it shows a more transparent structure than those of the conventional dynamic route choice.
