Overview: Located in Watertown, South Dakota, the Redlin Art Center that houses the artist's original artwork was built using some of the most unique and innovative building systems and techniques. For starters, the 40-foot-tall building was constructed with structural insulated panels. The panels, manufactured by Enercept Inc., are made of expanded polystyrene (EPS) insulation sandwiched between APA trademarked oriented strand board (OSB) on the outer skins. The architect turned to structural insulated panels because of the controlled air environment needed for the gallery.
