Overview: The paper deals with errors, which rise up during Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) realizing harmonic analysis for power quality measurements, if it is performed by digital signal processors (DSP). For FFT realization there exist different algorithms based on the same principal but differing in the calculation operations sequence. The paper compares results obtained by radix-2 decimation in frequency and decimation in time algorithms. Then it gives possible improvements for overall error suppression.
