Overview: This article basically analyses features of aluminum, which are important for the non- contact measurement of the temperature. This study is based on the results of experiments, which were carried out at foreign research institutes. Rising interest of the industry in contact less measurement of foamy aluminum profiles during their production was the motivation for this article.
