Overview: There is an ever present need for climate control in most buildings built today. As these cooling and heating systems get more sophisticated, they will require more sophisticated calibration systems that can help achieve a better rate of efficiency and accuracy. The Air Vent Calibration System is a faster, more efficient method to meet this growing need. By using a scalable sensor network, we show that an entire office building can be calibrated in less time using less manpower but still achieve the desired accuracy. This is one more application for sensor networks in a field that is already growing faster each day.
