Overview: This paper welcomes the opportunity to respond the Energy Futures Task Force's consultation document "Fuelling the Future". The response which follows is a collation of personal views expressed by Fellows with direct experience of the energy industry. Respondents felt that on the whole, the issues identified were the right ones. Whilst the scenario approach was supported, caution was urged on drawing too specific outcomes from them. While all the scenarios benefit from a consistency of assumptions, this does not greatly elevate the probability of them being predictive of the actual outcome.
