Overview: This white paper describes the fact that nuclear power has an advantage over fossil power stations in terms of CO2 emissions. It also reveals that the deregulation in the electric power utility begins soon and electricity market will be changing from traditional state to competitive one. Even now huge capacity of combined cycles power stations which use gas as fuel are under construction .Nuclear power has disadvantages in finding suitable site for construction and is not always attractive for power utilities.
