Overview: This paper discusses and provides information about the UKROFS Standards for Organic Food Production. Organic stock farming is a land-related activity. Except where authorized by way of exception in this Chapter, livestock must have access to a free-range area and the number of animals per unit of area must be limited to ensure integrated management of livestock and crop production on the production unit, so minimizing any form of pollution, in particular of the soil and of surface and ground water.
