Overview: Middle-market transatlantic M&A activity has shown steady improvement. In October 2004, there were 75 announced middle-market transatlantic transactions, a 21.0% increase from the prior year period. This article examines and informs that in October 2004, the total number of disclosed US middle-market transactions was 232, a 21.4% decline compared to 2003 and 17.1% below the LTM monthly average, according to RW Baird.
