Overview: In a world where mobile and wireless connectivity is quickly becoming a necessity rather than a luxury, the demand for high bandwidth will continue to be strong. Regardless of a industry standard, UWB, with its high data rate and wireless capabilities, will find home in a number consumer and commercial multimedia networking applications: streaming images and video from digital cameras and camcorders to TVs or PCs, distributing HDTV signals from one home receiver to multiple TV sets, connecting printers and scanners to computers, and more. Ultra-Wideband will not be limited to wireless LAN applications however.
