Overview: In 2000, North American consumption of industrial electronic monitors and operator interface terminals used in discrete and process manufacturing applications totaled almost $650 million. Imports accounted for about 24% of North American consumption. The highest shares of imports to North America were for web browser terminals, graphic monitors, and graphic and alphanumeric operator interface terminals.
