Overview: This paper provides details about the Industrial Trent Gas Turbine. The Industrial Trent gas turbine is a three spool design based on the successful family of RB211 Aero and Industrial engines. The Rolls-Royce Industrial Trent is the most advanced aero-derivative gas turbine for electrical power generation available today. Delivering up to 58MW of electric power in simple cycle, at 42 per cent efficiency, the Trent has established a new benchmark for fuel economy and cost savings. It also offers operators fast delivery and installation times and beneficial environmental performance.
