Overview: The paper provides an overview of the current work performed in the framework of this project. Five problems are investigated: - Laminar-turbulent transition and laminar flow control: an experimental database for 3D transition has been obtained; in parallel, the prediction codes developed for low speed flows are extended to supersonic configurations. - Development of a "quiet" supersonic wind tunnel: the suction device in the R1Ch wind tunnel has been improved, so that laminar flow was observed on the nozzle wall downstream of the throat. - Compressible turbulent flows at high.
