Overview: The purpose of this publication is to provide guidance material that will assist all who are concerned with the operation of aircraft that carry ACAS equipment. It includes information on the capabilities and limitations of the equipment, and the traffic and resolution advisories (TAs and RAs) it may generate, together with advice concerning the appropriate flight crew response to each case. Information is also provided on details that should be included in checklists, and in Operations and Training Manuals.
