Overview: This study focuses on physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) modeling has found extensive use in toxicology and predictive risk assessment for modeling of chemical exposures among various laboratory animals and extrapolation to humans. One of the advantages of PBPK modeling is the ability to predict tissue concentrations of chemicals based on physiological and metabolic parameters for each species of interest.
